As a business partner entrusted with sensitive information and required to distribute that information electronically to other business partners, BWS understands its obligations under the HIPAA Standards for Privacy, Electronic Transactions and Security (including the HITECH Act and the Omnibus Rule of 2013). BWS has implemented policies, processes, and procedures designed to ensure compliance with those rules and regulations by modifying business procedures and computer systems to incorporate compliance requirements.
BWS maintains appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to help protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of all data.
