Download or Update the Help On Demand mobile application

Help On Demand’s mobile application is available on Apple’s App Store for iOS devices and Google’s Play Store for Android devices. To take advantage of all Help On Demand’s new features, please make sure your application is up to date. You can do so by following the steps below.

How to download or update on an Apple iOS device – Click here to go to Apple’s App Store
  • Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for Help On Demand
  • Locate the Help On Demand app and tap the Get or Update icon
  • This will install or update the app on your iPhone or iPad
  • Once completed you will be able to open the application from your home screen

   

How to download or update on an Android device – Click here to go to Google’s Play Store
  • Open Google’s Play Store on your Android and search for Help On Demand
  • Locate Help On Demand’s app, and tap to Install Or Update
  • This will install or update the app on your device
  • Once completed you will be able to open the application from your home screen

 

     

Configure biometric sign on for the Help On Demand mobile application

Enabling the use of biometric sign on (such as Face ID and Touch ID) will allow you to access Help On Demand in a quick and secure fashion without the need to type your username and password every time you log in. To ensure this feature is enabled, follow the below steps:

  • From the Help On Demand login screen slide the “Enable Face ID” (iOS) or “Enable Touch ID” toggle button to the right
    •  If you are an iOS user, you must authorize Help On Demand the user of biometrics by selecting “Allow” when the app asks for those permissions.
    • Once the toggle is moved to the right or showing blue, you will need to enter your username and password in the designated fields
    • Upon entering your credentials tap on the TouchID or FaceID icon located in the password field
    • By tapping on the icon, the application should log you into the system and confirm that your biometrics are configured

After the use of biometrics has been enabled, every time that you open the application, it will request your biometrics automatically without the need of any action.

Note – Your device must support the use of biometrics to enable the feature.
